In the heart of Spokane, WA resides Riverfront Park, known as the location of the World Expo in 1974 and has since been an attraction spot for all of the Inland Northwest. The city of Spokane has recently passed an initiative to revamp the park. This renovation of the park will include a change on Canada Island, a small island in the middle of the Spokane River.
